Weaponcraft offers a 6-hour class that provides students with everything they need to get Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Florida and Utah Concealed Firearm Permits. The Utah permit is recognized in 30 states for Maine residents, up to 32 states depending upon your state of residency, Florida is similar, offering 30 states at last count. (Florida recognizes Utah only for Utah residents) The class requires no live-fire, but does require the teaching of basic firearms safety, concealed carry firearms manipulation skills, types of carry, holster selection, laws regarding concealed carry and use of force in Utah. Students bring their firearm and a strong-side belt holster (with appropriate belt), a minimum of 2 magazines or speed loaders and belt holders for the mags/speed loaders. Dummy rounds are provided to students for most firearm calibers.
Students will be photographed and fingerprinted on site and leave with ready-to-mail applications signed and stamped by appropriate State/NRA Certified Firearms Instructors. Each state has separate requirements to be followed after the class. Cost of the course is $300.00 pre-registration with Weaponcraft is required by October 18th.
