MODERN SHOOTER 1 MARKSMANSHIP, MINDSET AND MANIPULATION
C\3 PHILOSOPHY:
C represents Commitment,
making the commitment to
train like there is no tomorrow!
3 represents the three sides of
the triangle:
Marksmanship
Mindset
Manipulation
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Weaponcraft’s Modern Shooter 1 was developed and refined after years
of extensive training and real world experience. It is designed for law enforcement
and military operators who need to perform under the worst of
conditions. Modern Shooter 1 will build upon a foundation of the basic
fundamentals of marksmanship, mindset and manipulation. With emphasis
on manipulation, the student will be exposed to intense, repetitious
training; training that will provide the core building blocks for quick, precise
reactionary responses. Weaponcraft believes that the shooter is fully
responsible for every round that leaves the barrel, both in training and in
combat. Under a critical eye the student’s skills are pushed to the extreme
with no discretion for mistakes. This course is not for the faint of heart, as
the student will experience and attain a level of total emersion in the art
of combat marksmanship. Students will work hard over the course of four
days to prepare the mind and body to act as one under extreme stress,
reaching standards most feel are unattainable.
The merits of Modern Shooter and the C\3 training philosophy have been
proven time and time again through the training of new recruits and seasoned
veteran operators alike. Federal agents, State and County Drug
Enforcement agents, SWAT/SRT operators, patrol officers and even new
Afghan Police recruits (with no higher than a third grade education and
requiring the aid of a language assistant) have all attained and surpassed
all pre-set standards through the use of this methodology under the direction
of our primary instructor and his fellow instructors.
At the conclusion of the course, Weaponcraft students will not only shoot
with accuracy under extreme stress, but will understand and believe in the
C\3 philosophy, something that will better prepare them to overcome and
survive a lethal encounter.
