New Women Shooting Blog:
This blog is being written by a women shooter addressing women’s concerns with firearms and personal security. My name is Julie Ann and I am the General Manager for Preparedness Experts (www.preparednessexperts.com), a sister company to Weaponcraft Training. Working in the same office as Weaponcraft, I am surounded by guns on a daily basis both at work and at home. I wanted to educate myself on safe gun handling skills, laws, and shooting fundamentals so I attended the Basic Handgun/Concealed Carry Class offered by Weaponcraft.
Prior to attending the class, my husband gave me one of his guns to use in the class, only to realize that the gun was too large and was a poor fit for my hand. Fortunately there were demo guns available in the class that I could use. The Glock 19 9mm that I used fit my hand like a glove. This experience made me realize that women need an event where they can demo different handguns and rifles. The Girls N Guns event is for both experienced and first time shooters, in a safe no-pressure environment for women who have the same concerns and interest about firearms.

I’m so excited for this! Is there a date set yet?
All the details will be posted soon! Still working on a range date.
Great! If you need volunteers, I’d be happy to help.
