Reloading Ammunition Class

The Weaponcraft Metallic Cartridge Reloading Classes have been a hit so far. Sure, it seems to be a little easier to find factory ammo on the shelves these days. But, it’s still very pricey! And, supplies seem spotty at times. Some of us much prefer to make our own ammo, using recycled brass cases picked up free from a range. For the cost of a bullet, a primer, and some powder, you can custom reload your own ammunition for less than ½ the cost of the best deal at the store. And, if you choose to cast your own bullets from recycled wheel weights, you can drive the cost of reloading down to mere pennies per round instead of $.30-.40 per round for store bought. And, you help save the planet at the same time. The lead from the bullets can be recycled almost indefinitely.

It’s cost effective and reasonable to reload using inexpensive equipment. During our nine hour class, you’ll learn how and where to get deals on supplies and equipment. Under my watchful eye (with 38 years of reloading experience), you’ll build pistol and rifle cartridges, and then test fire some to prove safety and functioning of your reloaded ammo in your guns. The experience and knowledge gained in the class translates perfectly, no matter what equipment you purchase later. We even include a copy of my book on the subject of reloading, a $30 value. You’ll also get a copy of the NRA Reloading Guide, which covers both metallic cartridge reloading and shot shell reloading. I’m currently working on a new project, also aimed at free bullets from recycled materials. One of my guns is a Sig Sauer P229 (we have them in stock at Weaponcraft) in .40 S&W caliber. I purchased an inexpensive set of swaging tools, and using recycled 9mm cases and a cast lead core (recycled wheel weight lead), I am swaging the parts into 185 grain Hollow Point bullets. I’d be happy to show you how this is done during a class. No more having to buy jacketed hollow points for me.
